Chiamaka Achodo Graduate Trainee
Chiamaka is a graduate consultant, an organized, dedicated and capable research associate and administrative assistant with about 3 years of graduate level experience. She currently works as a graduate trainee at Rhizome Consulting. She has a bachelor’s degree in history and international Relations from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu and a master’s degree in Humanitarian and Refugee studies.
She also holds professional certifications from the United States Institute of Peace in Conflict Analysis, Peace Building, Negotiation, Mediation, United Nations Civil-Military Relations working in Natural Disasters and complex emergencies. She is also a professional certified scrum master 1.
Her career began at the Nigerian Institute of International affairs where she served as a research assistant and library assistant. Eventually moving on the have careers in the consulting and tech space.
Chiamaka has also held leadership positions where she was the Vice-President at the Institute of Peace, Security and Humanitarian studies students’ association and successfully led over 200 students and staffs through a successful one-year tenure.
Chiamaka is passionate about philanthropy, sustainable development goals, women and girl-child education and development, peace and security, disaster and risk management, mediation and negotiation.
